All programs include materials for participants for reference and recommendations for future training engagements.

Career Transition
Due to layoffs and downsizing, many employees have lost jobs through no fault of their own. This program is designed to give you the skills and approaches necessary to locate employment in a challenging job market. In focusing on the resume, interviewing skills, negotiating tactics, and marketing approaches designed to promote your skills and accomplishments; this program is a must for those looking to avoid losing time in taking the first steps.

Communication
Effective communication is the building block for any manager to be successful with his or her people. Without effective communication techniques, breakdowns occur. During this session, we will demonstrate how communication can either create action or create powerlessness and teach participants winning communication skills that will improve their relationships with co-workers, customers, and work teams.

Conflict Resolution
This session is specifically designed to help at least two individuals, groups, or departments within an organization resolve dysfunctional conflict. Conflict is neither good nor bad in itself. In some cases, conflict between departments is necessary and productive for organizations. In practicing effective communication techniques, participants will work directly on improving interpersonal or intergroup relationships.

Customer Service
It’s easy to lose sight of the basics, especially under the relentless time pressure that so many of us feel in today’s technology-enabled world. Taking care of the needs, wants, and desires of the customer, client, or guest is a basic aspect in business that is too often overlooked. This program helps to determine and remind us what customers need, want, and desire, and explores the service points necessary in exceeding their expectations.

Networking
Creating relationships is essential to being successful in today’s business world. Most people are not born networkers; they develop the skills through education, training, the right attitude, and long practice. Whether attending a meeting, making a sales call, or interacting in a business setting, it’s not who you know but who you want to know. This session provides many of the skills in greeting people, handing out your card, asking for their cards, listening, excusing yourself, and introducing yourself to others. Additional discussions will focus on emotional based marketing, target markets, and how to ‘work a room.’

Management Training
If you don’t have a specific purpose in mind, any road with get you there. Since organizations strive to achieve a specific purpose, someone has to define it and decide on the means for its achievement. Management is that someone. What does management actually do? They plan, organize, lead, and control all efforts in achieving goals and objectives. When management achieves its organizational goals, work performance improves; communication is enhanced, staff remains loyal and stays on-board.

Presentation Skills
This program gives attendees the tools to develop and perform a compelling and informative presentation. Aspects of this program focus on the objectives of a presentation, knowing your audience, outlines and formatting of content, tone and delivery, and logistics involving conference facilities and surroundings. There is also a component exploring the usage of visual aides and handouts. Through interactive discovery techniques, participants will experience a presentation from the opening icebreaker, to content delivery, to question management and debrief. (Note: This session works best when presented in installments, where specific concepts are discussed and then practiced.) Presenters will get the opportunity to bring a presentation subject of choice to work with and ultimately develop throughout the workshops. Through the use of videotape, presenters will be critiqued on their platform skills using their own program content.

Sexual Harassment
This session is designed to explore the legal and practical definitions of sexual harassment. Through the use of video, role-plays, and discussion, participants will learn how to better recognize and avoid the behaviors that constitute sexual harassment on the job. In becoming more aware of these behaviors, we can develop the confidence and necessary skills to handle and ultimately eliminate sexual harassment related issues in the workplace. All of our training programs are customized and designed to address your needs and achieve your objectives.
